I had wanted an article about Winston Churchill on Literary Traveler for a long time. But I didn’t want the average run-of-the-mill article about Churchill and his life as Prime Minister and a historian. Instead, I had an idea in my head about literary Winston Churchill, but I knew I wasn’t the right person to write it.
Enter Paul Millward. He is one of our most talented writers at LT. And he is British. Paul brings a sense of refinement, history and creativity to each piece he writes. When I asked him if he’d like to write about Churchill, I was positive he’d come up with something original and literary.
Therefore, I proudly present to you our last article for 2010 entitled Winston Churchill’s Poetic Speeches of World War II.
I hope you enjoy this article as much as I do. Happy Holidays to all our Literary Travelers!
